I love Vietnamese food! So I am always testing out new recipes that are easy to make at home and this one does not disappoint. Once you make these you will have them on repeat. I’ve made them once a week for the last 3 weeks. Ground turkey is such an affordable and healthy choice and this flavour combo works so well together. Sometimes I find that turkey really needs some bold flavours to turn it up a notch.
These meatballs are also baked in the oven but don’t worry they still get a nice crisp to them. I also like to add quick oats to my meatballs because they soak up the juices and make the meatballs nice and tender. I tested this recipe with and without the quick oats and the oats really make a difference. This is also an egg free recipe which is nice to have.
These meatballs go great with a stir fry and rice or with some fresh sides like cucumber, carrot and rice noodles. Don’t forget to serve it with your fav dipping sauce!
