Move over Kombucha, and enjoy Switchel! This fermented drink is so easy to make at home and there are so many variations of this recipe. I love to enjoy it first thing in the morning. It’s great to detoxify and rev up that metabolism. It also makes an amazing post workout electrolyte drink. You can even mix it with some sparkling water to create a spritzer to sip on hot days. Switchel has a spicy taste from the ginger and lots of tang from the apple cider vinegar and lemon.
Combine all the ingredients into a large mason jar or pitcher. Stir and let it sit in the fridge for a few hours before drinking.
