Raspberry Chia Jam
I can’t believe it has taken me this long to post this recipe. This is a staple in my house. It is honestly so easy to make and a super healthy way to enjoy jam. I spread it on my toast, add it to my plain yogurt, fill cookies with it, and top my breakfast doughnuts with it.
No joke this recipe takes 5 minutes to make. You fill a pot with a bunch of frozen berries and simmer. Then you add in some chia seeds and voila. Fresh and healthy jam.
Chia seeds are an excellent source of soluble fibre which is important for a healthy gut. They are also a great plant-based omega-3 fatty acid.
For this recipe I used raspberries but you can use your favourite berries or a combination. I have successfully tried combinations using blueberries, strawberries and cherries.
